Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)           

Christopher is listed as being killed in action during the capture of Raillencourt and his Circumstances of Casualty Card states that he was killed "While taking part in the attack on Raillencourt in front of Cambrai he was instantly killed by enemy shell fire".
