Trenches - Chapigny - 25/3/1916 Saturday: Staff Captain and Brigade Major visited trenches with the C.O. at 10.30am. C.O. again visted at 5.30pm.

Enemy shelled front line trenches and Tilleloy (N) Post very heavily.

12 men went on leave.

Casualties: 2nd Lt W.G. Carty killed; [Other Ranks] 4 killed and 6 wounded.
