  • 05 Oct 1918 - Admitted to the 31st Casualty Clearing Station in Salonika with Malaria
  • 13 Oct 1918 - Transferred to 6th Casualty Clearing Station
  • 16 Feb 1919 - Diagnosed with Recurrent Malaria

Circumstances of Death

Despite Francis suffering from re-current Malaria he died of Acute Lobar Pneumonia on 29 December 1919 at the Birmingham General Hospital. Present at his death was his step brother E.J. Harris also of Roslyn, Dorridge.
