1st Sept 1914 – Missy:  – Marched to La-Ferte-Milon. Bivouaced

2nd Sept 1914 – La-Ferte-Milon: - Marched to Chambry. Bivouaced

3rd Sept 1914 – Chambry: – Marched to Jouarre - Bivouaced

4th Sept 1914 – Jouarre:  – Marched to Coulommiers. Bivouaced in the prison

5th Sept 1914 – Coulommiers:  – Marched to Nesles, billeted

6th Sept 1914 – Nesles: - Advance begins. Marched to Voinsles through Rozoy and took up a position there on received a report from a Sergeant of 15th Hussars at about 10am. 1st Battalion C.G. formed Advanced Guard to 1st Division. Ordered to retire to crossroads E of Rozoy. Advance continued in late afternoon to Puiseau (1½ milwes NE of Voinsles), bivouacked.

1st Reinforcement joined – Lieut R. Wavell-Paxton and 90 other ranks
Losses: Killed: 5 other ranks
            Wounded: 4 officers (Capt E.G. Christiemiller; Lieut E.D.H. Tomemache?; 2nd Lt Hon. G.P.M.N Sturt, 2nd Lt F.C.R. Britten) and 30 other ranks

7thSept 1914 – Puiseau:  – Marched to Le Temple, (2 miles W of La Ferte-Gaucher). Bivouaced
