Circumstances of Death

Horace was killed on 31 July 1918 when the Camel D8226 of 3 Fighting School, Bircham Newton he was flying, stalled as he attempted a forced landing near the Thornham practice bombing range in Norfolk. He was 19 years old. Fatal Air Accidents website
