Service & Medical Information
- 11 Aug 1915 - enlisted at Warwick Farm, NSW and moved to Egypt
- 29 Jun 1916 - arrived at Marsailles from Alexandria
- 23 July 1916 - wounded in left hip and invalided to England via Wimereux
- 11 Sep 1916 - returned to the front
- 1 Oct 1916 - admitted to Hospital with sore and septic scalp.
- 28 Oct 1916 - returned to front lines
- 5 Dec 1916 - wounded in action for 2nd time with gun shot wound in left hand.
- 22 Dec 1916 - returned to the front
Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)

Arthur is listed as being killed in action on 2 April 1917 and was originally buried at Beugny Churchyard before being moved and reintered at Achiet sometime around 28 July 1920. At dawn on April 2nd 1917 the 56th Battalion attacked, and captured, Louverval Chateau and during the this attack Arthur was killed.
