Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)

George was taken prisoner on 10 April 1918 during the Battle of Messines (1918) and he died 4 months later in the Charleville Prisoner of War Camp on 17 Aug 1918. A rough translation of his Red Cross record shows that he died of a diarrhea related condition and it appears that he was originally buried in the Charleville Communal Cemetery.
