Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)
The war diary states that Harry was one of three men killed during the relief of the 7th Bn Yorkshire Light Infantry. The battalion had made their way from a camp at Guillemont to the unnamed trench lines and they were subject of heavy shelling which delayed the relief until nearly midnight.
