Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)
Walter was killed on 6 Oct 1918 along with a number of other men but the war diary does not give us any clue as to how or where, it merely states that the Battalion moved from Bony on the Hindenburg Line to accomodation at Venwhuile.
