Percy is listed as dying of wounds on 28 Dec 1917. There is some confusion about which Brigade of the RHA Percy was a member of. The CWGC has two records and one states 5th Brigade, as does the website page but another says 15th Brigade. Percy's Register of Effects states he was a member of 15th Brigade. We have researched both the 5th and 15th Brigade War Diaries and we were unable to identify when and where Percy was originally wounded before being evacuated from the front lines to the Military Hospitals on the coast of France at Etaples. |
