The Fallen of WW1 in the SWFHS Area

A database from the Transcriptions of Memorials, Plaque and Rolls of Honour containing the names of the men and women of the SWFHS area who fell in WW1. By no means complete the database now contains 2128 records following the addition of over 200 men from a number of recently added War Memorials. We have now transcribed all the memorials we have so far photographed and now need to visit the remaining 50 or so memorials to obtain more. In the meantime though we will be creating a new Index with links to new individual pages for each man so far researched.

Gaps in the data mean that we have yet to find that info. Click the last name for more details of the soldier. At the moment the database is only searchable by one field so we suggest either selecting All in the number of records for display then clicking the column header Last and then scroll down or search by last name.

Do you have photographs, documents or information about any of the men and women of South Warwickshire?, if you do we would be happy to received and publish them. Use our upload form by clicking here.
