We have so far transcribed the names from 66 war memorials and plaques at different sites around the South Warwickshire area. From them we have carried out more detailed research on 1008 of the fallen named on the memorials and the results can be seen by clicking here for the Database.

Some may have noticed that we had, until this week, failed to identify 10 men from different places, men who had also eluded the Warwickshire Roll of Honour and other local history groups. They are listed below. Therefore we set our "Findmaster General", Wendy, to work and that list is now down to 3, do you know anything about Ernest Franklin of, or associated with, Berkswell; Percy Owen at Exhall or Ernest Burrows of Walsgrave?. Wendy continues to work to find, and more importantly confirm, the right men with Percy Owen being the most elusive.
